Fahrenheit 451 Burning Bright summary and thoughts

Montag was forced to burn his own house and his precious books. Beatty found out that Montag was talking with someone(Faber),and wanted to hunt that person down. However, Montag killed Beatty with a flame thrower when he found out this, and Montag starts to escape. He planted a few book bombs on his way to Faber's house. Then he went to meet other people who were once professors, and Montag stays with them.
I think Montag changed a lot in this part of the story, and maybe he will change this situation, too.

Fahrenheit451 part2

Montag started to read books at the second section.
However, Montag cannot understand what the book was saying, so he went to find Faber to help him.
Montag and Faber discussed many things and plans together and Faber gave Montag a capsule that works like a "seashell", or cellphone.
Later, Montag talk with Faber through the capsule and Faber tried to instruct Montag with the capsule. However, Montag ignored Faber for most of the time, and thus caused many trouble for himself.
Someone turn him in because he ignored Faber's words.
Hence, the firemen targeted his house.

Fahrenheit 451 part1

This is a good book.
The author used very many literature devices in this book.
I think he did a good job at describing the characters, too.
In this first part of the book, the main character,Montag, was bother by many things.
Such as:
Should I burn books?
Why does people burn books?
Why people want to read books?

At the end of this chapter, Montag almost found all the answers to these question.
However, he suffered a lot, mentally, because of that. Also, Montag cannot do his work properly so he just quits.

Graduation trip

Yes, I had a good time in Malaysia and Singapore!
I had never went into a foriegn country without my parents going with me.
The buildings and decorations are beautiful.
Yet the one and only thing that impress me the most is the school food in Singapore!
(The picture provided here is the cafeteria of Dunman High School)

The food was awesome!
There are 14+ food stands in that school; each having 6~8 dishes.
The most important thing is that the prices are very very cheap.

You can get better foods at a cheaper price!
Also, their orea smoothie is just awesome!

I love their food!

My Favorite Author

My favorite author is Sophie Jordan.
Why?
Because she is awesome!
She use a lot of figurative languages in her book- Firelight.
Thus making the book awesome. The scenes are so well-described that one can easily make an image of the scene in seconds.

Also, this author describe her character's feelings very well.
Although Firelight's characters are from the other side of the world, we can feel their anger, happiness, adoration, and pride easily through Sophie Jordan's words.

She is probably the best fantasy novel author I have ever encounter!

Reflection on Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet:
I think Romeo is not patient, and he is stupid. Romeo suicided when he think Juliet is dead, and we can know that Romeo does not think that his life is important. Juliet, however, is brave and smart, and we can see this from Juliet's reactions and her plans.

Reflection on Hw8-One Hundred Years of Multitude

I think this article,One Hundred Years of Multitude,is a very fine article that tell us that the US is improving. Most people of today are not racist, unlike 100 years before, and we can learn that the world is really improving by reading this article. From the Dillingham Commission to today's "melting pot" America, we can know clearly that the world has change. Although some still have Dillingham's spirit, we can be sure that today's America is truely a "melting pot" as Amy Tan described.

I also learned that how many "intresting" research people done before. I never thought that people will make race dictionaries. It is unbelievable and scary. When I look at the word "eugenics", the first and only word that pop up my mind is "Nazi", but not US. It is surprising that US had done similiar things as the Nazis, yet America did not go that far as Nazis.

In conclusion, I learned many things from this article, and I am glad that I had read it.
